About Magstone
Company History
• Magstone LLC was created in 1997, originally as an extension of Stambaugh’s Inc, a full scale site
work company in Union Bridge, Maryland
• Founder and Owner of Magstone LLC: Jerry Stambaugh
• Created in order to handle the high demand for sediment controls in the modern construction world
• For the first 15 years or so, Magstone focused on sediment control items such as Silt Fence, Super
Silt Fence, Gabion Baskets, Tree Protection, Baffle Boards, Etc.
• Within the last 5 years, Magstone has expanded its operation to focus on Stormwater Management Facilities, Dry Utility Installation, and Stream Restoration, in addition to Sediment/Erosion Control maintaining its significance
• Beginning with 3 Employees in 1997, Magstone has grown to include over 70 Full Time Employees
• Currently running 2-3 Sediment Control Crews, 9 Stormwater Management Crews, and 1 Dry Utility

• 2017 was the 20th Anniversary of Magstone’s creation and is still owned and operated by Jerry Stambaugh
